This week Justin and his crew did work to remove a large brick hood over our fireplace (which was an eye sore in my opinion). Our house was built in the 60’s, so the brick feature wall & hood had some unique character to it where the brick looked aged & weathered. Justin and his crew matched the pattern and style perfectly. Naively, I thought it would be as simple as removing old brick and slapping new brick on the wall, but quickly realized that would have looked terrible if I hired just any ordinary masonry crew to do the job.
These guys were super thorough and have impeccable attention to detail. Justin was great at communicating the process and what we could expect from him and the work done. Once the mortar cures, and blends in with the existing wall, I am beyond confident the work will look like there was never any demolition or work done to begin with. Even if for some reason it didn’t match (which I highly doubt), Justin said to give them a call and they’ll make it right.
Just a solid group of guys overall who you can tell are passionate about what they do and don’t skip any corners. I’d hire again in a heartbeat.
Bonus points: They gave my boy a cool hat which made his day and he hasn’t stopped talking about since.”
