With more than 25 years of experience in masonry, structural repair, construction management, and facility operations, Justin leads with a disciplined, systems-based approach focused on safety, performance, and long-term value.
Under his leadership, The Curatola Group has grown into a multidisciplinary organization serving commercial, industrial, government, and residential clients with engineered solutions rooted in craftsmanship, accountability, and operational excellence.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Justin brings mission-focused leadership, precision, and accountability to every project environment. He also serves on advisory and licensing boards, including the Contractors Licensing Board for the City of Columbus, helping advance professional standards and responsible construction practices across the region.

Rachel Curatola serves as Co-Founder and Executive Administrator of The Curatola Group, providing organizational leadership and operational support across the company’s expanding construction and facility engineering divisions. Rachel plays a key role in coordinating administrative systems, supporting project execution, and ensuring effective communication among clients, field teams, partners, and leadership.
Rachel is a graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, later furthering her education with a degree in nursing. Before entering the construction and business arena, she worked as an Emergency Room nurse, developing the ability to manage high-pressure situations, prioritize critical decisions, and care for people with compassion, clarity, and discipline.
Drawing from both clinical and administrative experience, Rachel helps build structured processes within The Curatola Group, overseeing documentation, scheduling, internal coordination, and client support. Her approach emphasizes organization, accountability, and service — qualities that help keep projects moving efficiently from planning through completion.
In partnership with her husband, Justin Curatola, Rachel has also co-founded and supported the development of multiple companies, contributing to strategic planning, administration, and operational systems that support sustainable growth.
Rachel is deeply committed to the culture and mission of The Curatola Group — professionalism, respect for the trades, ethical business practices, and genuine care for people. Working closely with leadership, engineers, site supervisors, and administrative teams, she helps ensure the organization operates with reliability, clarity, and purpose.

Dax A. Clapsaddle, P.E., is a veteran civil and geo-structural engineer with nearly twenty years of experience supporting complex structural, infrastructure, and heavy-civil projects across the Midwest and beyond. In partnership with The Curatola Group, Dax provides technical leadership, engineering oversight, and design support that strengthen the Group’s ability to deliver safe, compliant, and engineering-driven construction solutions.
Dax’s background includes extensive work in temporary and permanent structural systems, including earth-retention design, shoring, deep foundations, structural stabilization, and engineered repair strategies for new construction and existing structures. His experience spans hospitals, towers, municipal utilities, tunnels, flood-control systems, parking structures, and large excavations — expertise that aligns directly with The Curatola Group’s growing commercial, government, industrial, and facility-engineering portfolio.
Working alongside The Curatola Group’s project leadership teams, Dax assists with structural assessments, design-assist reviews, engineered repair concepts, permitting documentation, and construction-phase consultation when required. His disciplined approach emphasizes:

This ensures that every project is approached with both engineering rigor and real-world practicality.
Dax earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University and is licensed as a Professional Engineer across multiple states. He has completed advanced OSHA and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers quality-control training and continues expanding credentials to support The Curatola Group’s statewide and regional expansion.

Scott P. Hines

Vice President of Site Development
Scott P. Hines is a seasoned construction and civil infrastructure leader with more than 35 years of proven experience across residential, commercial, and municipal sectors. He brings to The Curatola Group a disciplined, systems-driven approach — aligning engineering design, regulatory compliance, and field execution to deliver safe, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure.
Scott has supported the full lifecycle of development, from early planning and design coordination through construction management and long-term maintenance. His career includes leadership on municipal improvement programs, site development projects, roadway and utility infrastructure, and public works initiatives across Ohio and the surrounding region.

Scott holds advanced industry certifications, including:
- NICET Highway Construction Inspection — Level IV
- Ohio State Fire Marshal — Licensed Fire Line Installer
- Ohio Department of Health — Licensed Septic Installer
His experience spans collaboration with engineering teams, CAD plan development, utility and roadway construction, water and wastewater systems, site development, and municipal public works programs. As a longtime business owner, Scott also brings practical insight into cost control, constructability, risk management, and schedule performance.

Preservation & Architectural Documentation Manager The Curatola Group
The Curatola Group is proud to introduce Lauren Leibold, our Preservation & Architectural Documentation Manager, bringing advanced artistic training, technical precision, and historic expertise to our restoration and development work.
Lauren holds a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design and dual bachelor’s degrees in Studio Art and Architectural History from Miami University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her academic background provides a strong foundation in architectural history, visual analysis, and professional documentation standards.
With extensive experience in illustration, publishing, and large-scale public art, Lauren combines creative excellence with disciplined technical execution. Her work includes measured drawings, façade documentation, detail studies, reconstruction renderings, and archival research used to support historic tax credits, Certificates of Appropriateness, preservation board submissions, grant applications, and engineer/architect coordination.
As Preservation & Architectural Documentation Manager, Lauren leads The Curatola Group’s historic documentation and visual reporting initiatives. She oversees field documentation, prepares technical illustration packages, manages archival resources, and develops presentation materials that clearly communicate restoration scope, structural intent, and preservation strategy to agencies, clients, and design partners.
Her ability to translate complex historic fabric into accurate, readable, and compelling visual records strengthens project approvals, mitigates risk, and enhances long-term asset stewardship.
Lauren represents the integration of craftsmanship, scholarship, and professionalism that defines The Curatola Group’s approach to preservation and development. Her leadership ensures that historic projects are documented with integrity, clarity, and respect for original construction methods.
